My name is Ally, and I am historical interpreter at a local museum, Black Creek Pioneer Village, and am also a teacher within Ontario. I have a Honours Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Anthropology and History and also a Bachelor of Education in Jr./Intermediate grade from York University. Recently I earned my Masters of Education at the Ontario Institute of Education part of the University of Toronto in Curriculum Studies and Teacher Development.
My hope is to increase everyones awareness to the different resources available to teach Canadian history. My hope is to improve the teaching of history within history and social studies courses that are taught within the curriculum in Canada and in schools.
